Verdepedia requires no account and offers no forms.
The site uses Google Analytics to measure its audience and Google AdSense to show ads.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, no analytics or advertising cookie is set before you agree, through Google’s consent message.
You can change your choice at any time with the “Privacy preferences” link at the bottom of every page.

Who is responsible

The data controller is the publisher of Verdepedia. For any question about your data, write to the address shown on the Contact page.

Preferences stored in your browser

The language you choose and your hemisphere are kept in your browser’s local storage (localStorage). These preferences are needed for the service you ask for: they are never sent to Verdepedia or anyone else, and you can erase them by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Audience measurement (Google Analytics)

Google Analytics tells us which pages are viewed, for how long, on what kind of device and browser, and from which country or region. These statistics are used only to improve the site’s content.

Legal basis: your consent.
Without consent, no Google Analytics cookie is set; only cookieless signals, with no identifier, may be sent to Google.
Retention: detailed data is kept for at most 14 months in Google Analytics.

Ads are provided by Google AdSense. With your consent, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to show ads based on your interests and measure how well they perform. Transfers outside the European Union

Hosting

Like any website, the hosting provider may record technical logs (IP address, date, page requested) to keep the service secure and running.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. To exercise these rights, write to the address on the Contact page. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. If you are in the United States, you can also opt out of personalized ads through the consent options or your Google ad settings.
